Our Beginning

Our story began on the islands of Sumba and Flores, where our founder, Nathan, came face-to-face with the silent suffering of children living with disabilities. One encounter changed everything: a blind child, sitting alone, without food, without guidance, without hope. He had never known what it meant to be loved.

Walking away was not an option. That day, Nathan made a promise; not only to one child, but to every child like him. That their story would be rewritten.

Our Mission

In 2009, that promise became a home.

Founded by Nathan and his wife, our mission is simple but urgent: to give love, dignity, and opportunity to children the world has forgotten. We care for children who are blind, children living with disabilities, and children who have lost their parents. Within our home, they find what so many have been denied, safety, education, stability, and above all, love.

The first child Nathan and his wife welcomed was Yosep, who remains with us today; growing, learning, and dreaming. His arrival marked the beginning of a family that has continued to grow ever since.

Our Family Today

Today, 63 children live under our roof. Each carries their own story, their own struggles, and their own dreams. Here, they are no longer alone. They are part of a family that sees them, hears them, and believes in their future.

The Work Ahead

Our children are growing up, and they have hopes for their futures. To study, to work, to build lives of their own. We do everything in our power to help them get there, but our resources are limited. Some children receive the support they need to chase their dreams. Others, for now, must wait.

We are working to change that and we cannot do it alone.
